ISMS.online includes powerful tools to help you clearly show how your work is connected.

You can use Linked Work alongside:

• Clusters
• Hyperlinks in Notes and Discussions

Linked Work is available in Projects, Activities, Tracks, Track Items, Accounts, Contacts, Contracts, Risks, and Groups. It allows you to link an area of ISMS.online to an existing work area, or create a new one and link them together automatically — provided you are a team member of both.

Once linked, the connection will appear in both areas.

Linking Projects, Tracks, Groups, Risks, and Accounts

Creating a Link

1. Navigate to the Project, Track, Group, or Account you want to link from.
   
   
2. Click Linked Work at the top of the page.3. Click Add Linked Work at the top of the page.
   4. Choose whether to:
   • Link existing work – Start typing the name of the work area, select it from the dropdown list, and click Create Link 
   • Add External URL –Paste the URL of a work area external to ISMS.online you would like to link to the work area
     
     

Access Considerations

If a team member links work that you do not have permission to view, the link will display as “- Private -”. You will not be able to view, access, or remove these links.

Removing a Link

To remove a link, click the remove icon next to the linked work item.
